6. Selection Process and Exam Pattern
The selection process for NFL Management Trainee 2026 consists of three stages. All stages are elimination rounds — you must qualify each stage to proceed to the next.

Stage 1 — Offline OMR Based Written Examination
An offline pen-and-paper OMR-based objective test. This carries 80% weightage in the final merit list. -
Stage 2 — Personal Interview

All selected Management Trainees must sign a service bond of 3 years from the date of joining. The bond amount is ₹4,50,000 for all categories.
- If you resign or leave NFL before completing 3 years of service, the full bond amount of ₹4,50,000 must be paid back to NFL
- The bond covers the training period (1 year) plus 2 additional years as a regularised Officer
- This is standard practice across most Navratna and Miniratna PSU recruitments
